Senior Director of Leisure Sales
Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority
Kelly Messina is the senior director of leisure sales for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The LVCVA is the destination marketing organization for Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, and its mission centers on attracting visitors by promoting it as the world's most desirable destination for leisure and business travel. The LVCVA also owns and operates the Las Vegas Convention Center.
In her role, Ms. Messina oversees the domestic leisure market sales team. Prior to joining the LVCVA, she worked in the hotel industry for more than 20 years, including Hyatt, Harrah's, and Four Seasons where she served as senior travel industry sales manager. Her background includes revenue management as well as hotel marketing efforts to retail agencies, consortia, and tour operators.
Ms. Messina graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor's degree in hotel administration. She served as chairperson for the annual Four Seasons Cancer Research fundraiser and is on the Board of Directors for Prost Las Vegas.
